    This is Wellsprings of Torah, and we are glad you are visiting us. We are a Messianic Congregation, acknowledging that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah of Israel. In like manner, we also embrace Torah observance as a valid expression of devotion to the One True God, Adonoi, who constructed the Heavens and Earth.

  Our mission

    We are pursuing the Jewish signature of worship, as Yeshua (Jesus) lived and practiced with his disciples. We recognize that the Church did not exist at that time in the established form that we know it now. There were no Catholics, Baptists or Charismatic's. There was only Judaism, and Yeshua expressed the power of that piety with complete conformity to God by practicing the principles presented in Torah (Sefroth Moshe, the Books of Moses -- being Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy).

    Therefore, by means of study and practicing the elements of Torah, we want to understand what Yeshua taught and lived. For he testified, as recorded in the Gospels, that he had not come to dismantle or diminish the Torah. Rather he had come to establish it to the satisfaction of God in Heaven, whose Name we bless.

    Therefore, with a Torah observant lifestyle and the power of the Holy Spirit, we want to dignify Yeshua as the Messiah of Israel. Moreover, we want to proclaim his Lordship to Jews and Gentiles as the Son of God, who being prophesied by the Torah, Prophets and Writings, was sent to the world and became the faithful keeper of God's Word.

    Yeshua lived nearly two thousand years ago, and died in the late hours of Pesach (Passover). But God did not suffer his body to decay in the ground. God raised Yeshua from his tomb in the third day of his death, and after forty more days, God elevated Yeshua to the Heavens. Seven days after that ascension, upon Shavuoth (Pentecost), Yeshua sent the Holy Spirit to rest upon his disciples and all believers -- and the Spirit has rested upon us all, even to our day.

    Ever since that remarkable Shavuoth (Pentecost), many have looked forward to the Messiah's return to Earth, and if he should come in our days, we will cry out to him -- naming him Faithful and True -- and he shall declare to us his Greater Name, that no one has ever known, and will not be revealed until that day. That day will be the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.

    We are located just south of Charlotte NC USA, a little out from Waxhaw NC, and near the JAARS Center on Davis Road (JAARS is a technical support service for Wycliffe Bible Translators and SIL International).
